Grace...

Grace continues to spend much of her time dancing and practicing skating jumps all around the house. She has mastered a few of the full-rotation jumps and LOVES to show us how she does them off the ice (and in the kitchen...). She is full of energy and spice, and has recently become quite interested in having her own "style" when it comes to choosing clothing for the day. She is constantly coming up with new phrases that both amuse and perplex us... The other night she declared that she always has a hard time falling asleep at night because it takes her too long to "find her inner peace". I am CERTAIN she has never heard us use those terms, so we're not quite sure where she heard that one. She is really beginning to enjoy the responsibility of being a big sister, and has become quite helpful in reading to Ana and playing dolls with her. (She has also learned how to take her out of her crib and put her in bed with her... That does not work out so well just yet...) She is also VERY into scripture memorization right now. (It helps that there is an incentive program going on at Sunday School!) She memorized the Christmas story last year, and still remembers it. She is planning to recite it at a couple Christmas programs this year. She takes a special interest in elderly individuals and has decided that, along with being a veterinarian, she would like to work in an assisted living facility when she grows up. (This is, of course, as well as being a "famous figure skater like Miss Stephanie"!
